THEstinker speaks CUTE too!

I can't wait to see if Santa brings me my new video camera for Christmas! If he does, then I will be able to save videos easily to my computer because I plan on taping THEstinker for the world to see how cute he is (I'm not biased:).

Soon, the world will see him sing his ABC's and other assorted adorable-sounding songs, say "break your ankle" (that's a favorite around here), and probably see him perform some really advanced dance moves while saying things like "naked party" and "shake your booty". And just maybe when I post, I will tell the stories behind these CUTE THEstinker sayings. So stay tuned!

Until then....

SPIDERman's Hatch Day

SPIDERman from the backseat today: "Mommy, when did I hatch?" Ok, too much Miss Spider's Sunny Patch for him!

Is it normal for a 4 year-old to ask so many questions and so many questions that are getting deeper? Not only did he ask me when he hatched, when I told him he "hatched" on his birthday and that he didn't really hatch, he asked how exactly he got out of my belly. I told him we went to the hospital and the doctor helped me get him out. And he said, "Mommy, tell me more of how it happened." Anyone know a good book out there about this???:)

Jesus Price

SPIDERman has his Christmas program at school tomorrow. I think they must be practicing alot because he seems to have the song "Go Tell it on the Mountain" stuck in his head. After one of the hundredth times he was singing it, I joined in and at first he was impressed that I knew the same song as him. Until I got some of the words wrong. When we got to the end of the song where it says to go tell it on the mountain that "Jesus Christ is born!" he tells me "Mommy, it's not Jesus Christ, it's Jesus Price!" Price just happens to be THEstinker's middle name and apparently Jesus' too:)

Mommie Dearest

I wanted to elaborate on why I am thankful for my mom. She is kooky, but she is so much more.

P rotecting - I always feel safe when I am around my mom. I remember feeling like that growing up too.

A dvice-giver - And sometimes I even ask for it!:) But she has given me good advice in the past and I do like to hear her opinion, even if mine is different and I listen to myself instead of her:)

T rusting in me - My mom always has had trust in me.

R ight-brained - Did you know the only people in their right minds are left-handed?

I s a good listener - My old roommate and my husband (then-boyfriend) used to make fun of me for how often I talked to my mom on the phone.

C aring - Of course she is, she's a mother! She has cared for me my whole life, and put our needs before hers many many times growing up. I hope I can follow her lead for my kids.

I s funny - Even though she thinks she doesn't have a sense of humor:) Mine can't all come from my dad!

A + Mom - Had to throw one in there reminiscent of my younger days. I bet my mom has one of these name things I gave her about 20 years ago:)

I love you, Mommie Dearest! I hope you know that.

Thankful Thanksgiving Thursday - a week late :)

In honor of the holiday, I would like to post a couple things I am thankful for right now.

-The awesome people in my life.

--FIREman - For the reasons, see my last post:)
--SPIDERman - He is my dream come true and he is such a great kid (most of the time:).
--THEstinker - He is my second dream come true and he is such a stinker! But he is the most adorable stinker I have ever seen.
--My sister - She is the best sis 'n' the whole world and she is always there for me no matter how many times I call her in one day.
--My mom - She is a little kooky but I love her:)
--My in-laws - How can anyone not stand their in-laws? :) But seriously, I have a wonderful mother-in-law and father-in-law who love their grandsons and for some reason seem to love me!
--My friend C. - She is one of my best friends and she comes from one of the most awesomely giving families I have ever met and she has been there for me too many times to count - I am just waiting to somehow repay the favors! :)
--My friend T. She has been one of my best friends since high school and still is, whether she's off moving to another city/state (but now she's here, yay!), being my workout buddy or we're just having coffee (not) and catching up.
--God - well, he's not really a person but you know what I mean!
--And I am thankful to others that I did not mention but will in future posts!

-My jobs - especially my #1 job titled "Mom". But I am also really thankful for my job as a medical transcriptionist that allows me to work at home on my own hours!
